How would you describe your wedding style?
Oooh, such a great question! I like to capture the majority of the day in an editorial style, capturing details of the day and using natural posing cues so that your photographs look like they belong in a magazine.
During family formals, I know how to corral a crowd. I work quickly so everyone can get to cocktail hour, but I take time to make sure everyone looks their best. I pay special attention to making sure to flatter the mother of the bride and groom, and to make sure grandparents feel comfortable.
During the reception, I switch over to photojournalistic mode and capture the dances and toasts, tears and laughter, and the hugs and emotional moments of the day as they happen.
When should we book with you?
Since I take only a limited number of weddings each year, most of my couples book 12-15 months in advance to make sure I’m available on their wedding date.
Booking early also means my couples will have more time to schedule their engagement session.
And, here’s one of my favorite wedding photography tips: An engagement session is the best way to ensure you’re comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day. Not only will we create a folio of images of this special time in your life that you’ll treasure forever, but you’ll also know how I like to pose and shoot my couples so you can relax on your wedding day and trust me with your images.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based based in Denver, Colorado, and travel worldwide for weddings.
Travel to Colorado Springs, Estes Park, and Vail is included in my wedding collections.
If your wedding is in Aspen, Winter Park, Steamboat Springs, or Telluride, please add a $750 travel fee in summer, or $1,150 in winter.
If your wedding is outside of Colorado, I’ll provide a custom quote that includes travel.
Can you create a custom collection for me?
Yes! My wedding collections are designed to work for the majority of brides, based on what my past clients usually selected for their wedding day. I’m always happy, to create a custom collection that meets the unique needs of your wedding day!
